ISSUE

After upgrade to 2026.3.1 jobs are suspending with "Value Cannot Be Null" error.

This error can also appear in multiple places in Jobs monitor, such as opening a job via "Find" and navigating to "Variables", "Documents", "Notes" tabs.

It is related to a change in behaviour relating to updating Data Object(DO)

When a DO field is configured to accept a null value, the value cannot be null error occurs when you try to update it using an expression node.

CAUSE

This was confirmed to be a Bug 2264553- Suspending jobs after upgrade to 2026.3.1

SOLUTION

It was fixed in an upgrade 2026.3.1.FIX25923
